How to Perform

This piece is simple. If you choose to perform, your character is you. In this piece, the protagonist (you) receives an email, reads it, and decides what to do. That’s it.

It’s so easy, I feel like I need to repeat it. Instructions for performers:

  • Pretend to be yourself
  • Read the email and attachments below
  • Pretend to decide what you’ll do about the email
  • End the performance whenever you want

Remember that in a Personal Performance Art Piece you are the audience member too. So if you are performing, you also have to do this: observe your own reactions to the performance. How does it make you feel to watch this story play out?
